JewishCare has a team of highly skilled and caring case managers based in Bondi Junction and St Ives.
The team are totally conversant with all the latest guidelines and requirements in relation to government and Claims Conference funding. Your case manager will work with you to develop a Care Plan so your package will be focused on achieving your preferences and priorities. Members of the team speak a range of languages that include Russian, Hungarian and Polish.
Our Home Support Heroes are all highly qualified with positive characteristics and hobbies making it easier to match you with the staff of your choice. They are adaptable, conscientious and enthusiastic with experience in providing a professional care service to the elderly. All have Certificate 3 in Home Care services. We have a diverse workforce who are bilingual, caring and passionate about the work they do. Our staff are trained, supervised and police checked to ensure the service you receive is of the highest standard and tailored to your needs and choices.
I was born in the Philippines and I speak English and Filipino. I came to Australia in 2005. I have a qualification in nursing which comes in handy at times. I have enjoyed working for JewishCare in my role as a carer for the last 3 years now. I love being able to help older people, it gives me enjoyment seeing them happy and healthy. When I am not working I like dancing, travelling and spending time with my family and friends.
I was born in the Philippines, I speak Filipino, English and a bit of Spanish. I came to Australia with my family in 2007. I have Cert III and IV in Aged Care and also Cert IV in Disability. I enjoy working with JewishCare Home Support as it gives me the opportunity to help older people remain in their homes and I feel I make a difference in their lives. Seeing their smile is priceless. In my spare time I like going out for walks, going to the movies and holidays. I enjoy quality time with my family as much as I can.
I was born in Australia, speak English and understand a little bit of Italian. I have been working with JewishCare for the last 2 years as a carer for Home Support. I like working with older people, listening to their lives experiences, their interests and being able to help them, is very rewarding for me. In my spare time I like to socialise with my friends, going for a coffee or a walk and spending time with my family. I also like to read books, mainly biographies and fiction.
I was born in Mogadan city in Russia and lived in Moscow from 1983 -2009, moving here in 2009. I play the cello and have a Bachelor in Music. As you would expect my interests include music. I love to sing, conduct a choir and play my cello. A family member of a client also loves music and we share CDs and discuss different artists. I also like dogs and I used to volunteer at Sydney Dogs and Cats house. I have been working with JewishCare for 4 years. It’s a great job that allows me to help older people.
I was born in Russia and came to Australia 5 years ago. I speak Russian and English. I have a Cert III in Aged Care. I have been working with JewishCare for over a year now. As I grew up with 2 elderly grandmothers, I enjoy very much working with older people. If I can make a difference in their lives, that for me is the most rewarding feeling. In my spare time I like going for walks, going to Art Museums (I like old and new Art and I also like photography). I love the outdoors and when possible going camping.
I have been working for JewishCare for 7 years now and I enjoy very much been able to help older people in their home. I have a Cert III in Aged and Community Care. It is very rewarding for me when I see my clients happy after I have helped them and also been able to spend time with them, I feel that I make a difference in their lives. When I’m not working I like to read all types of books, going to the movies with my son, I also enjoy exercising and meeting friends.
I speak Hungarian and English. I have been working at JewishCare for the last 15 years and I feel strongly about helping older people but especially Holocaust Survivors. Their stories and experiences are incredible and I get such satisfaction from helping and forming relationships with them. I also love practicing my Hungarian language with those from Hungary. I have a Cert III and Cert IV as well as secretarial qualifications. In my spare time I love cooking for my family, watching movies and meeting my friends. I also love looking after my granddaughter which gives me a lot of pleasure.
